Hello! My name is Brittany Young-Sanchez, I am owner and therapist at Velocity Physical Therapy, Hudson and New Richmond, WI. I live in Hudson, WI with my two boys and am avidly involved in their sporting events (hockey, baseball and soccer). I also am the Head Coach of the Hudson Volleyball program and enjoy that immensely. Along with my children’s love for hockey, I have also taken on the roll of the Hudson Havoc team physical therapist and have grown to love hockey more than I ever thought. In clinic I specialize in the treatment of athletes (especially hockey), neurology (BPPV, concussion, MS, PD and TBIs), foot/ankle injuries as well as whiplash/cervical injuries that include shoulder. In my spare time I love renovation projects, hiking, being on the water, playing in the woods with my family and kids, reading, cooking/baking, playing the piano, singing and exploring new places! I love people and connecting. I founded Velocity Physical Therapy in 2016 with the desire to create an atmosphere of healing that was uplifting, fun and creative. Since then we have grown quickly in the Hudson community and really enjoy our patient base and getting to know new patients/clients!

Velocity Physical Therapy is a privately owned clinic based out of Hudson WI with a satellite clinic in New Richmond WI. Velocity treats a wide variety of patients and currently with three full time therapists each have a unique skill to offer the clinic’s patient base. At Velocity, we have a very patient centered approach, meaning we combine exercises, stretches, manual techniques such as muscle stripping, deep tissue, dry needling, cupping, spine mobilization and muscle work to implement behavior change and functional improvement in their patients. Velocity is unique in that it takes on a “whole patient approach” which creates an environment of success within their patients. Therapists have the freedom to choose the best treatment for their patient and walk with them on their journey to healing. We understand that healing comes with unique challenges to each person and can include: behavior change, activity modification, navigating proper footwear, psychology behind return to sport and fear, injury prevention after healing, emotional support required to heal and simply being heard. At Velocity you become family and never a number. We believe that when we focus on service, everything else falls into place. We believe in creating an environment of support and healing to whatever extent is needed for each patient. We strongly believe in patient advocacy as well as service. A patient’s only job is to walk in our front doors and we will do everything we can from insurance inquiries to personal support to make YOU successful.

We desire to educate people on the importance of learning their own body, how to live their best lives and how physical therapy can help them do just that. A physical therapist serves as an access point to care. We often think our first call is our family physician when we have any aches or pains. However, physical therapists are experts in their field as well as experts in knowing “where” to go and “when”. This opens a door for you for quicker care! Insurance will cover you when you utilize a physical therapist as your primary access point for aches and pains. Physical Therapists are extensively trained in triaging injuries and movement issues. They are trained in detecting cardiovascular events, neurological issues and of course orthopedic issues. In this detection, therapists are able to either treat the issue if it is in our scope of practice or guide you in the correct direction for proper care from our preferred providers within your community.

If you have any questions about how we can help YOU, your loved one or your TEAM, contact us for more information! We would be happy to have a free 1:1 conversation to answer any questions.

In Service to you,
