Word of Mouth Marketing Should NOT be Your Only Strategy

This episode comes directly from a few conversations I had this past week.  Since I feel so passionately about it, I had to bump up this topic and get it out of my head.  As a former business owner who relied heavily on word of mouth, I would of probably skipped this episode.  Thinking, “you know nothing.”

However, now after 14 years in business, I know full well that even though word of mouth is awesome, it should NOT be relied on to bring people in our doors. 

The trouble many business owners have is that they attempt too many marketing options or platforms.  And because they are stretched so thin, they don’t do anything excellent and get super frustrated with themselves and the lack of growth. 

Today we’re going to lean into the concept of “one to many” and I have three great examples on how to do this.  Perhaps one of these ideas will give you the aha you need to start or lean into a marketing strategy that you do consistently.
